The actual cost is not in the concrete itself, but rather in the artisan’s time and creativity for producing unique designs, special features, transportation, and installation, tools, warehouse, etc. All expenses involved add up to the cost per square foot. However, concrete can be formed, molded, stained and polished in ways simply not achievable with any other natural stones, such as marble or granite.
